The daughter and protegee of an infamous jewel thief, now missing in the same accident that caused her powers, Joule's heroing is a condition of a deal she made with the federal government (in return, her true identity has been sealed, and even if you guessed it, she's now living under an assumed name). Her personality is cool - calm and collected. She's always chilly - complaining about the cold - the ice she surrounds herself with is actually a side-effect of her abilities, and though she appreciates the protection it affords her, she doesn't have to enjoy how it feels.
