Character Bio

A dentist's office is full of pain, memories going back years and years - John Michael Smith II, DDS, one of the foremost dentists in his field, knew that better than anyone. When the Rikti arrived, one of the portals opened in his practice, which he had inherited from his father. Unfortunately for Dr. Smith, it was unstable, and exploded. For two years, he lived with the pain in a coma - not just his own, but the pain of all his patients. The war was over when he awoke, and he was a changed man. He's since opened a new clinic, but has semi-retired, to leave him more time for his new vocation - bringing the fight to the gates of evil, going to the root of the problem and drilling it out.
