Character Bio

Melissa Colbourne was just a normal rocker girl growing up on the streets of Philadelphia. That is until her powers manifested themselves during a party one night. Dark energy lashed out from her body uncontrollably, resulting in the hospitalization of some of her friends. The scared Melissa went into hiding for 2 days on the streets, before finally returning home. Her parents, fearing grave retalliation from the families of those hurt moved to Los Angeles. Melissa was able to keep her powers under wraps until she was eligible to enroll in T.C.I. There she was able to gain better control of her powers, and met her current boyfriend, the hero known as Brynstar. Taking the name "Blade", the two now patrol the streets of Paragon City, smashing evil wherever it may show its ugly head.
