Character Bio

Kit was a ranger for the Dominus, an interstellar government (one time empire, though they no longer call themselves one since the war that deposed the last tyrant.) They've taken it on themselves to watch over less advanced worlds, those in this arm of the galaxy that haven't gotten to the point of interstellar travel and colonization.
They watch, they defend as needed, but they never make contact until the world is ready.
Unless, of course, their ship crashes. Which hasn't happened in several hundred years... until now.
Kit will *never* live this down. She finds herself stranded, unable to contact her people - which, really, is probably for the best. Less explaining to do that way. In the meantime, she lives up to her duties, protecting those that need protecting - just on a much smaller scale.
But if one more person asks her about cheeseburgers, she may forget that duty...
