Character Bio

Once a scourge to all of Paragon City, the Skarilor had been set loose in Croatoa by the Circle of Thorns. At the same time, renegade Nictus across the world attempted to evade capture and re-indoctrination by their brethren.

One of their number stumbled apon the rampaging devil. Believing it would be a safe haven from those seeking it, the Nictus probed the lower planar creature's mind and saw the depravities to be brought opon all mankind. Determined not to allow that to happen, the kheldian mentally fought with and dominated the creature, subsuming it's personality.

Its normal form a terrifying sight to mortals, the symbiotic creature now cloaks its true form. Cautiously, the Devil's Shade attempts to right the wrongs both halves had previously wrought, ever mindful of the horror lying just under the surface and constantly fighting to break free.
