A tenured university professor, and Dean of Engineering at MIT, Dr. Bernadette Washington-Chisholm was enraged to action when her school was terrorized by a crazed gunman. The injuries she sustained damaged her arms and left leg beyond recognition. With the assistance of her college roommate, a famous Hollywood make-up artist and sculptor, Bernadette was able to create artificial cybernetic arms so realistic that enemies never see her coming. She lives with Shadowhart, her husband, at Midnight Cove and is fiercely protective.
