Doctor Kingdom was a popular children's show character whose fictional adventures were portrayed on early morning television in the eighties. A steadfast hero empowered by a "beast signet" that allowed him to transform into any animal, he taught youth in his day to respect all things and never give up during any trial. It was ultimately cancelled in its sixth season due to funding issues and the disappearance of its lead actor.

Present day--
Richard Macallon used to watch the adventures of Doctor Kingdom in his boyhood. A respected veterinarian originally from New York state, he worked with the belief that he could gain a better understanding of animals through their own eyes. Truth became stranger than fiction when Richard found himself in possession of his own beast signet, one left by a mysterious visitor.
He has decided to become a new Doctor Kingdom in order to fully live out his dream.
