Character Bio

The power of a star in the palm of my hand.  That was what they promised me.  I agreed to the experiments as any loyal citizen would, all the better to fight for a better, stronger Praetoria.  We were young, and eager to do good, and most importantly, we believed.

The days and weeks blurred together in that tube in the Ministry of Science, but later they told me it had been two years.  Two years of fire and pain, two years of silently screaming at the lab-coated men who came to watch, and write on their clipboards, and nod, and walk away.  Then the Resistance came, and the lab-coated men were no more.

Few of us made it out alive, and fewer still made it out sane.  We went our separate ways; to see each other only served to remind us of those years.  The experiments worked.  I hold the power of a sun.  My power, to use how I see fit.  Think on that the next time to you decide to turn people into walking superweapons.
