Aria Covington, sole survivor when her family's manor was encased in glacial ice in the middle of summer. The young woman freely admitted the incident was her doing and that it was to pay her father back for is comments about her choices in what she was to do with her magical talents.

Tried for the murder of 23, including her father and two of her brothers, Aria was sent to the Zig while they were still chipping the ice from her house.
