Vironica Halie was born into a small and empovershed family in New York. Her father constantly told her to not expect more. But she did. Vironica always /knew/ she was destined for greatness. She just wasn't sure how.

It was in her Juinior year at high school she found out. Failing her science class, the girl approched her teacher and asked if she could do any 'extra credit' to bring her grade up. The teacher refused her and informed the girl that he was reporting the incident to the principal and Vironica could expect expulsion before the week was out.

Vironica knew the fall out from this would destroy her plans, weak though they were, and attacked the man as he stormed out the room. Something clicked while she lunged at him, and her weak blows were buffeted by dark energies even as fire cascaded off her.

She didn't kill the man, though at the trial she showed no remorse for the attack and was sentenced to the juvinel wing of the Zig.
