Character Bio

Blaine's mutant ability to manipulate the temperature around her manifested in her mid to late teens. Regarded by the people of her hometown as the 'freak who keeps catching things on fire', and kept at a distance by her embarrassed parents, she tried in vain to suppress her abilities, resulting in progressively more dangerous accidental releases of heat or cold.

After a horrific accidental loss of control which left one of the few people who?d stood by her terribly injured and unwilling to have anything more to do with her, Blaine left home, her confidence destroyed. She came to Paragon City in the hope that she could learn control, and find a place to belong.

After more than a year as a Hero, Blaine has developed the control over her powers that she so desperately sought, along with the confidence to use them.
