Character Bio

Ciardhalla (see-ar-dah-la) is, to put it simply, a forgotten goddess. She is from long, long ago, when europe was ruled by scattered germanic tribes. A smaller tribe in the mountains of what is now Sweden honored her and took her as their patroness.

Eventually, her tribe was attacked by a much larger, more warlike tribe. All of her people were killed at about the same time she was defeated by that tribe's brutal god. She faded out of knowledge, and was forgotten for almost 2000 years.

Dark mages often search the spirit realm for powerful deities to bind and use for their evil, and to make themselves more powerful. A cult found her, and tried to bind her, but thanks to the lead cultist getting her name wrong, she was able to escape. She was much weaker than before, without followers to boost her power, so she had to run away. She shifted into a raven, and flew across the Atlantic, where she happened on the Isles. Her plans; to regain her lost power.
