Character Bio

Under the moniker "Kay OS," Berkeley student Kyle A. Young carried out several daring and clever cracks. He never stole or caused serious harm; to Kyle, the thrill and glory were in outsmarting others, not hurting people. Eventually his overconfidence got the better of him: A few hours after replacing the CIA's home page with the message "0WNZ3D by Kay OS!" a SWAT team kicked down his door and arrested him. The government offered Kyle a choice: Go to prison for a long, long time, or join a secretive robotics program codenamed "Tin Man."

But the comfortable life and government salary would not last... as Kyle worked late one night, an explosion tore through his workshop. He managed to reprogram several drones to carry him to safety, but the flames and shrapnel savaged his body. Maddened by pain, he rebuilt himself piece by piece, directing robotic proxies to amputate his wrecked limbs and replace them with plastic and steel.

Now, he answers only to the name "Kay OS."
