Character Bio

Michael Cosgrave, at the age of 22, had a doctorate in nuclear field physics from the University of Chicago and a high-paying job as a researcher for NovaTechnology. But his comfortable life in Paragon City was overturned, first by the Rikti War, and then by the gang warfare and urban chaos that has wracked the city ever since. He struggled to maintain some semblance of a normal life in the face of the madness that had shaken his home.
But when he discovered that NovaTechnology was supplying several of the gangs with energy weapons and advanced body armor, Mike decided he'd had enough of being a passive observer. He "appropriated" a number of useful devices from his research facility, including a fire-retardant bodysuit and his own experimental plasma field generator gloves. Adopting the moniker "Doctor Fusion," he has joined the crusade of heroes struggling to put the city right.
