Character Bio

There are few things more dangerous than a bored genius. Alan Helmsted, the Viscount Malus of the United Kingdom, was gifted with a mind that far surpassed even the greatest of his peers. The sciences, poetry, military theory, go, ancient languages... he mastered these things as effortlessly as lesser men master tic-tac-toe. Yet by his middle age, he grew bitter; though he had greatly multiplied his family estates through shrewd investments and playing the American stock exchange, others inexplicably failed to recognize his vast intellect. Instead his peers turned to jealousy and grumbled of "unfair" business practices.

The Lord Malus determined that if others would not willingly grant him his due, he would instead DEMAND it of them: He turned his considerable faculties toward cultivating the psionic talent latent in most people, that he could forcibly command the fear and awe he knew he deserved. The day will yet come when all will praise the greatest mind of this, or perhaps any, generation!
