Character Bio

A gifted theoretical physicist, Lou Planck theorized that the forces of magic could be bent to the will of science in the same way that the atom was. He realized that raw magic is a form of enrgy like any other and properly focused by the right device could be harnessed without the esoteric methods utilized by most practitioners. Planck developed just such a device, a mask that acted as a lens for raw magic that would empower specially designed arcanotech circuits embedded in his skin. Unfortunately Lou Planck had fully realized the forces he was dealing with and upon activating his mask, Louis Planck was painfully burned away as he was turned into a sentient gateway to the netherworld. The sentience that was once Lou Planck now struggles with the gnawing hunger of the netherworld as it tries to devour what is left. Lou's actions as a hero allow him to resist that hunger and hold on just a bit longer.
