Fatally shot during a hunting accident, minister Chris Parham was visited by a Kheldian with an offer of a second chance at life. Believing the Kheld to actually be a messenger of God, Parham eagerly agreed to the offer and recovered
rapidly as the alien energies flowed into him. Seeing himself as a agent of
Heaven and now calling himself Pentecost, he serves as the world's foremost
Christian superhero!

Like evolution and old-earth theories, Pentecost believes tales of Kheldians as  "alien energy forms" is just another in a long line of secular delusions.
