Vic isn't sure how he got his super powers.  If you forced him to guess, it'd probably have something to do with waking up in an alley with several expended magic scrolls, a stack of martial arts textbooks, some empty test tubes with *WARNING: MUTAGEN* printed on them, a Do-It-At-Home Nano-Enhancement kit, and a unidentified widget with several buttons, dials, and gauges on it.
