Character Bio

All her life, Abigail Brightman suffered from NYCTOPHOBIA; an unrelenting fear of the dark. She slept with the lights on and never went out at night. This terror shaped the path of Abigails life. She grew up to become a lighting technician for stadium concerts and the such. One night Abigail had just finished a concert and was driving home when the car broke down. Stranded with no other choice on a desolate road the ventured out into the night alone and in the dark as her flashlight batteries had died. Her fear bubbled to the surface and Abigail ran through the nighttime woods outside Paragon City. Screaming, panicked and not watching where she was going she stumbled off a cliff at the bottom of which she lay gravely injured. Coincidentally a Nictus came across her dying form and offered her a chance to merge and be reborn. Normally Abigail would have been terrified of this dark entity but so near death she was overcome by calm and accepted this creature's offer. Reborn from Nyctophobe to being of darkness.
