Hydrostatic Shock is a girl from the island nation of Acquilon. Emelia, a dancer at a club on one of the white sand beaches was inspired by the heroine Plasma Stream. Given a suit of armor by a friend of Plasma with the promise made to try and make a difference,  she came to the United States to do her part to make the world a safer place.
