Dani Sommers was an Olympic archery hopeful who was nearly killed in a car accident, but was saved by a cutting-edge operation that left her with advanced bionic prosthetics and implants.

During the cybernetic augmentation process Dani was injected with advanced nanites to create a neural link to her cybernetic enhancements (think of it as personal wi-fi from her own brain). As an unforeseen side-effect, these nanites enhanced her natural psychic abilities and allow her to create deadly mental illusions.

Now, Dani must learn how to use her new abilities while working to understand the new life that she has been thrust into as.... The Steel Illusionist!
