Once upon a time, an ancient wizard imbued a young woman with a mystical aspect of the Goddesses of the Fates to combat the forces of Evil. She became the first Jinx, and after she had saved the world on numerous occasions, she gave birth to a daughter. From this child is descended the lineage of the Jinxes, a bloodline that passes great power and great honor from mother to daughter. However, the power is not inherited upon birth but only after the previous wielder passes away.

Jennifer's mother was a member of the Midnight Squad who was captured in battle during the First Rikti War. She was experimented on for years, and didn't die until recently. At that moment, Jenny's powers manifested and became the current wielder of the powers of the Jinx. She vowed to avenge her mother's death.

Jenny Jinx has the ability to affect probability. She can cause extreme bad luck to her enemies (scientists call it radiation emission and sonic blasts), as well as bless her allies.
