Character Bio

As a girl I dreamed of becoming Samurai, like my father. As a young woman it was my destiny to marry one. Our marriage was arranged, and yet I loved Katsuo more than life itself.

Like most true love, however, ours was destined for tragedy. One day his lord saw me in the village, and decided to make me one of his women. Katsuo would not have it, and so his lord had him slain as a traitor, and his name dishonored.

I fled the village with the help of Katsuo's brothers and found refuge with rebels in the woods. My grief consumed me, and I trained myself so that I might take my revenge.

For months we raided caravans, taunting him to take to the field. But his cowardice knew no bounds, and so he summoned a wizard from distant lands to deal with us.

Battle is hardly a place for the careful incantations of a wizard, and as our arrows rained down upon him the spells misfired. Most died, but some of us, rebel and tyrant alike, were cast forth into this time. Into this place.
