Character Bio

Dega was an ordinary man with no aspirations, then he died.

Or at least they thought so at the hospital. Cause of death was accepted as heart failure, but when the body reached the morgue the pathologist realized a dramatic increase in body temperature. Dega's chest was physically glowing. The glowing faded after some time, dega woke up and was greeted by several scientists.

They asked that he allow them do test on him to discover exactly what had allowed him to continue living in the hunt for cures to incurable diseases. They were soon disappointed by the realization that he had in fact not died, due to some supernatural phenomenon his heart had in fact condensed and collapsed into a star and was powering his body at staggering levels. Having failed to find what they were looking for dega was released into the world of other superhero types like himself.

With a whole "new" life ahead of him, dega has set out to learn to channel this new found energy in the name of good.
