Ichigo was taken in by Mother Mayhem at birth after sensing her immense power and potential. In fear of repeating the freak accident that killed her, Mother vowed to protect and train Ichigo. She grew up without a proper childhood, having been confined in an underground facility and raised by the psychotic psychic. It wasn't until she was 16 that her powers became stable and was entered into the Seer Network. There, she saw the world for the first time through the minds of Praetorians.

Ichigo soon became reluctant to do her job as a Seer. Though she was weeding out villains, she was also seeing the private lives of all those around her. Hearing their thoughts, feeling their emotions. She not only believed that it was wrong and intrusive, but longed for a normal life on the outside.
