After the debacle of the Gonk Cybernetics Program, Boston Corp turned its attentions to nanobot technology and super enhanced molecular deflector shielding.

While not entirely successfully in both fields of research they did produce high deflection capabilities and major reaction time advances, unfortunately, as with most of Boston corps experiments since the boardroom coup, corners and safety measures were cut, the results being somewhat unexpected.

As the nanobot technology reproduced and slowly replaced large sections of the test subject's nervous system, it also destroyed large portions of brain capacity, turning a well balanced and years trained veteran soldier into a sword wielding killing machine.

Following on from her inspired choice of weapon, Kates old personality was forced into remission as the blood crazed Tsang Her took control.
