Character Bio

Kate Katayama was a wild child, a girl always in trouble and the source of
trouble. While still in high school, she sought out a martial arts teacher to
help train her to fight her enemies. Instead by chance, her instructor, a great
master of martial arts known only as the 'Doc', showed her the ways of the
warrior, to be focused and at relative peace with the world. He taught her to
be one with the blade; the girl Kate disappeared and only the blade
remained. In this state, Kate discovered that not only were her fighting skills
sharpened, but she could also render herself invulnerable to pain and injury.
After years of study, Kate decided to make peace with her own demons by
using the skills she was taught to bring justice to the world.
