Claire first came to be in her present state after a night with friends celebrating her recent promotion within the Air Force. During their walk home, the group was attacked by a number of feral vampiri. Having their fill of her friends before being drawn off by some unknown force, she dragged her beaten body towards the nearest phonebooth, she died before reaching the phonebooth.

Awakening several hours later in the morgue, the thrist burning within. Killing two technicians before being stopped by the tall man. He had driven off her attackers and told her he would help her in controlling what she had become.

Today, Claire only partakes in drinking animal blood to satisfy the hunger. She helps the heroes of Paragon as Pandora Duality, a fitting name to her situation.
