They designed the Dark Skin, unifying all their scientific and magic knowledge, and Fosca was elected as its wearer. The Dark Skin would cover hermetically all Fosca's body, keeping her alive, but transforming her body slowly into a door to the Dark Dimension. Fosca finally discovered the truth, there was only the Dark Skin and the Dark Force inside it. But, who and where is herself? Has she a soul? Is she just a dark husk? Is she anything more than a failed definitive weapon? Alongside the Liberty Legion again, her ultimate quest begins. She was worried about some Freedom Phalanx projects involving registering all Fosca's activities, and suspected that the orders came from somewhere above the Phalanx. Fosca realized immediately that The Lodge was trying to manipulate the most important supergroups, creating a state of opinion against Fosca. That was not a difficult thing to do, because Fosca's attacks to Lodge activities in Rogue Islands were easily, and mistakenly, seen as criminal actions. But she can't stop now, and if she must fight Paragon's heroes, she will. The Lodge has to be stopped, but she can trust no one to destroy them, their members are everywhere and they are masters in manufactoring consent. Next thing Lodge did hurt Fosca really deep. Some of the Dark Skin Projects, first experiments by The Lodge with the Dark Force, were found killed. Full of rage, Fosca begins a race of destruction and death. She's on her own.
