Morri then meets Dagda, a villain and begins to wonder what her true path is. Should she abandon all the good that she had done and stay with Dagda or reject her love for him. During her turmoil Dagda is mortally wounded during a great battle and before he dies he tells MorriganRaven to continue fighting for the people of Paragon city and that he had never wanted her to abandon them.  After the death of her lover Dagda, MorriganRaven vowed to love no other. It was to grant the subject hightened senses, reflexes and strength. The genetic cocktail was quite something and it did grant the subject what they intended. Unfortunatly it added something else. The centipede portion of the genetic mixture caused toxic spines to form and horn like antennae to grow. These deformations caused severe trauma for Vert and in a rage he broke free from the lab. Not being able to wear much clothing because of the spines, he was relegated to the streets. There he lived for years in which he came to terms with his abilities and honed them to the point where he could control them. Now He fights for SERAPH and their contacts. With his gaining fame and fortune he has bought a new Bio Mechanical suit that heals when the spines rip through it. He also wears a business suit for interviews and formal events.
