Then the Ritki Invasion happened. They joined another group of heroes and before long only Devin was still alive, if only just barely, his father died trying to protect him. Devin's healing power kept him alive as well as aware of what had happened and the pain. It was Synapse who saved him and his mother who used experimental crey robotics to rebuild his body. Devin has vowed to take over for his father until the Ritki were gone and Paragon was safe once again. Recently his mother, Professor Marsha Magnus went to live in the Rouge Isles to continue her own work and took his sister Diana along. This has forced Devin to learn to reapir any of his cybernetics that do get damaged himself. They attempted to control the "big bang" to create a universe they would rule over, instead they were destroyed by their own stupidity. Liefsmith's body was destroyed but his spirit survived, unlike the others. Just a few short years ago he was able to restore a body of sorts, made of shadows and dust for the most part. He has no idea why he was able to suddenly return to the living or why on this planet, but is glad his family failed. This world is so much more than any of them could have imagined. Once inside a bolt of lightning caused a cave in, trapping Thomas and killing his uncle. Trapped for what seemed like day Thomas wandered deep into the carverns and discovered the bones of another who had lost his life here. After having come into contact with the remains a faint white light appeared and Thomas was hit with an eerie bolt of lightning which not only changed him but he also learned the identity of the bones he discovered. (k, story to long as it is). Using his new powers he blasted the rocks that had closed the entrence apart and freed himself and dicovered his uncle who had been hurt had survived the cave in and had made it out in one piece. Her Husband, Medium Master, a hero with Psionic powers who was immune to her radiation also retired. They bought a home and had a family, Four sons. Danny toke his name to honar both his parents, two of his brothers have yet to try and become heroes. the third brother tried to become a hero but didn't care enough about it to continue and soon quit. Danny is more or less just a part time hero, Always in costume for most events but not much else these days.
