Lord Onz, Cryfire's great grandfather created Sol Suus as an experiment just to see what Cryfire would have been had Mindterror and the Crey Corp hadn't messed with him mind and body. Sol Suus thought he was Cryfire when he first woke up but found his memories to be more complete and his powers what they had been when he was much younger. It didn't take long for Sol Suus and Cryfire to realize they didn't like each other at all. Sol Suus even refused to join the Thunder Brigade and instead started his own supergroup the Justice Patrol.  The anceint symble of the Winged Sun has another name, Sol Suus.
