He decided it was time to take the streets back, and bring to justice those individuals responsible for turning the city upside down. One night while thwarting a Circle of Thorns summoning he encountered the demon Baziel. Travelling to Baziels dark dimension Wyldcard battled for his freedom. During the battle Wyldcard removed the dark soul stealing gauntlets that Baziel wielded and used them to finally defeat the demon. In a final curse Baziel ensured that Wyldcard could never remove them. To spite Baziel Wyldcard promised the demon he would only use them for good. That was three years ago. Now Wyldcard is in a constant battle of wills to keep the gauntlets from taking him over. It's been a over a year now since Wyldcard arrived in Paragon City and he has made quite a name for himself.
