I did not know what it was but I knew that it was not good. It came and devoured all life in my galaxy, the life that I was meant to protect. Yet I could do nothing. Ten years passed. I was so lonely, no life whatsoever existed, except me, their guardian. And finally a life-form approached me, he said he was Comet, and that he intended to THROW my galaxy AT the Hunger. He asked if I wished to continue my life and come with him to Earth, or to stay with my galaxy and die with it as a final gesture. I chose to live, and so rode on Comet's tail back to Earth. It is different here, but I have found some silicon-based life-forms at the bottom of the ocean that remind me of home. I shall watch over them as I did back home. She tripped over a jutted rock and fell to the ground, in the process ripping her space-suit. When this happened she was horrified and thought she would die.
