As the fire grew it burned off my clothes and melted the candy to my skin, forming a new layer of skin for me. After I woke up in the hospital, they told me that they didn't understand why but the candy skin was not coming off. She had placed all the knowledge she had of Earth into my mind and then told me of what she wanted me to attempt. She wanted to send me back in time and to Earth so that I might help prevent the people of Earth from destroying it. At least I still have the Buckler, my gauntlets are functioning passably, and the sword I took from that troll is nice and sharp. My armor is griffon and hydra hide, so it should help me when I miss blocking with the Buckler.
