Sunny Smith had always been an odd child.  From the first time she picked up a sword in Kendo class, she'd felt drawn to a culture not her own.  Blond haired and blue eyed, she was as gaijin as they came-- yet she wanted nothing more than to fit in with the Japanese kids she emulated studying kendo.When offered the chance to travel there, she naturally leaped at it-- but she fell ill after eating a bit of bad sushi, and then she found those odd yellow swords...
