Character Bio

Delia Zimmerman studied Siberian Tigers peacefully for many years, getting to know and love the big cats.  One night, an avalanche took out her tent, leaving her with little to protect her from the cold. She expected to die that night, and made her peace with it. When she awoke the next morning to find one of the big tigers purring peacefully next to her--and her hands frozen solid but still moving--she could not decide which one startled her more.
