Tatyana Stepanova, born in Solnechnogorsk, Russia, USSR in June 1957. At 19 she was "recruited" to a top secret project for the soviet government. At 26, there was an accident in the facility and she was transported to an alien dimension.

The accident also triggered latent mutations. She survived there, by learning how to use her newfound abilities, for nearly two years before being discovered by an exploratory group from Paragon City. It was quickly determined that the transport had included temporal, in addition to dimensional, displacement; 25 years have passed since she was last on this earth.

Now, with her country fallen, her knowledge out of date, and her family deceased; she helps those who rescued her and tries to regain her place in a new world.
