The conventional wisdom sees angels as agents of the Almighty who are content to fly around Heaven, carrying out His will. This is often accurate, but neglects the individual ambitions of some cherubim.

While Ramasael was content to perform his duties in the name of the Lord for centuries, he eventually became very curious as to the works of Man. The advent of machines, electricity, and computers made Mankind all the more interesting to observe. As Man became more decadent and less observant of his place in the divine order, Ramasael's distaste grew, matched only by his inability to do anything about it.

Whether His Awesomeness was involved or not, Man was smote by a plague, the likes of which hadn't been seen in the mortal realm since the First Days. The Hamidon would have been the end of Man if not for the works of Marcus Cole, idolator and false prophet.

Though forbidden to intervene, Ramasael can take no more. Cole needs to be destroyed, and the people need to understand there is only the One True God
