It was friday, my birthday, and a good day. Upon arriving at my apartment, flipping on the lights and setting my bag down, I scratched my kittens ears. Walked into my room, then walked back out. To my suprise, to find a man sitting on my porch in the dark, staring at me. He was big and tall, and had a long trenchcoat, dark wraparound Shades, and Shitkicker Boots. Next thing I know hes standing in front of me saying hes been watching me. For "signs". Asking who he was all he would say is an old friend of my fathers, and here to keep a promise he made to him. He asked me if I ever felt I didnt belong in this world, like something much bigger and greater was beyond my bleak existence. It was as if hed read my thoughts...He told me my change was coming, and coming fast and that I must leave my life as I knew it the past 20 years, to come with him, or I may never make it through my oncoming change...Fire was already dancing from my fingertips as he scooped me up, to take me to my future..
