Character Bio

Most children dream of running away and joining the Circus. Not our Marie, she ran away from it. Recruited off the streets when she was merely 7 years old Marie was taken under the wing of a Great illusionist named Nancy. She picked up the art quickly and spent many a happy year with the Carnies. Until one day she discovered that that Carnival was not making people happy but enslaving them. Marie made her escape in the dead of night taking with her the Book of Shadows and has been hiding from her former teacher ever since. Marie still practices her illusions with the aid of The Book, (the gangs of Paragon make for decent guinea pigs). Marie hopes that one day she will be strong enough to face her former teacher.
