On tour with the US national team in Scandanavia when the Rikti attacked, a strange one eyed man fashioned for her a baseball bat to utilize 'for the betterment of all'. This mighty stick was hewn from Yggdrassil the world tree, it's maker the Norse chief god Odin. Tapping it three times on the ground turns Casey Rose into The MIGHTY CASEY!!!! There is a power in numbers, and 9 is a holy number to both the Nordic mythos and baseball. By itself, it is powerful, but in Casey Rose's hands, it is fueled by the people's passion for the National Pasttime.
