Character Bio

Chris Evertt was a high school science teacher, amateur geologist, and guitar player. After a day of prospecting in the Black Hills of South Dakota, he brought home an odd rock he found. It gave off visible light, yet didn't register on his Gieger counter. He decided to relax by doing an impromptu jam session on his guitar. Problem was, his phenomenal riffs set up a sympathetic vibration in the strange rock. And much like a glass, the rock exploded, destroying his guitar, amp, and apartment.

After emerging from the rubble, he realized that he had a little too close of a kinship with minerals. Additionally, he has no need of his axe, Betsy, to make killer guitar riffs. Ah well, what happens, happens. Chris got transferred to Paragon City Public Schools, where his students think he "rocks" due to his hands-on teaching techniques. He is enrolled at Paragon U, to get a doctorate in Teaching. Meanwhile, in his off time, he wails on crooks in Paragon, trying to teach them a new tune.
