Character Bio

Lara Jones was once a treasure hunter specializing in occult artifacts. Whenever MAGI heard of some talisman or grimoire, she was the first one they called. However, she was not above working for less reputable organizations. It was on one of these expeditions that she came across the twin swords known as "El Borde del La Noche". Forged by the mad swordsmith, Alejandro del La Vega, it was said that the swords imbued their wielder with great power. Powers such as the knowledge and experience of all previous wielders, and the power over darkness itself. Lesser known however, was that the blades were cursed. The knowledge it brought was due to the fact that when the current wielder dies, their soul is bound to the blades. Now irrevocably bound to the blades, Lara searches for a way to break the curse. However, bills still need to be paid, so she works as the hero-for-hire "The Edge of the Night".
