Tightrope's heard the joke, and he isn't laughing. Tightrope was once an acrobat and clown with the Sullivan and O'Grady National Circus. At their latest show in Paragon City, everything went all wrong. The Carnival of Shadows, seeing the legitmate circus as some sort of "competition" to their criminal activities decided to teach them and their patrons a lesson. They took over the big top and butchered every performer and customer inside. Tightrope only succeeded in escaping by using his high perch and a pocket knife to cut through the canvas roof and get out. Now he's got a new job, one a little more grim than the last. Using the acrobatic skills and the keen wits he developed in the circus as well as the martial arts he developed in his spare time, he hopes that he can help others avoid the tragedy he faced. One name still echoes in his brain however: Vanessa DeVore.
