The Fading is a spiritual representation of the moment between death and life. No one knows what it is doing in Paragon, but those in the magical community fear that a cataclysm is coming. To gain the notice of such a being, they claim, a unique event in history must be on the cusp of happening. Those that have studied it from afar note that its powers and overall stance are representative of its whole. Its power of self-healing represents the will to live, and its shadowy attacks represent the pull of death. The fact that it's a fighter can only represent one thing: the conflict between life and death. Those who have watched it, claim it has a life, death and in between aspect, all of the same power level and all seemingly female.
