Character Bio

Originally an independant villain, Carl Jasper mended his ways after a turn in the Zig. He had developed his Iron Scarab armor to commit crimes, but now, finding that no job would take him owing to his criminal background, he's once again donned the suit, this time to do good. Years without use has cause the suit to degrade, so Carl is constantly upgrading its features. Carl figures if he does enough good, someone somewhere will notice that he's turned over a new leaf and offer him a new job. He hopes he'll score one with DATA where his talent with technology can be best put to use. Some heroes still believe Carl is one of the enemy, and more than one hero has arrived on the scene thinking that the Iron Scarab was the villain they needed to stop, only to find out that he was actually the hero who got there before they did and mopped up the scene already.
