Character Bio

Mike Standish was laid off the day that the Crey-backed goons came in and busted up Welder's Union #5404. They said his mere presence at the meeting constituted grounds for termination. When Mike went back to the site to collect his gear and go home, he found several strange men at the site. He was caught spying on them, and they took him up to the unfinished 13th floor. As they brought him up, it began to rain. Once on the top floor, the goons tossed him off. As he plummeted to the ground, Mike was struck by lightning and given his electrical powers. Without a job and with Crey goons possibly after him, Mike did the only thing he could do and enlisted with Freedom Corp. Now he has a steady paycheck again, but he's always watching out for those strange men.
