Using the black market, connections in the Resistance, legends of ancient books, scrolls and whatever managed to survive both the Hamidon Wars and Emperor Cole's purging of all things Occult and Mystic from the public view, Kneph Desdenova Alhazred has traveled from what was left of her ancient land.
Following a trail of secrets and whispered tales, she finds herself in the gleeming city of Praetoria to reclaim her birth right, her connection to the unseen world of the Gods and Demons. It is here, of all places that she has found the one true copy of the Dark book ... The Necronomicon.
