Heather Murphey had a fairly average childhood. It's when she hit puberty that she discovered her family tree didn't branch as much as other kids' did, and that she shared a specific mutation with her dad.

By the light of the full moon, she turned into a wolf.

This had some good points and bad points (like explaining the flea collar at school), but as she got older, she had an epiphany... as a wolf-girl? She could totally go shopping, and nobody could stop her.

Most women menstruate. Heather metamorphs. What she saves in feminine supplies, she spends in razors. Oh well. Not like she pays for them, anyways.
